Hermosa Wood Sunglasses

Enjoy sustainable products? If you answered yes, then these handmade Eco- Friendly bamboo sunglasses by Woodwear are right up your alley. The Woodwear and Hermosa logos are laser cut into the bamboo of these shades.

Unlike many other wooden sunglasses on the market, these have a very smooth finish, which makes them quite comfortable to wear. This is accomplished with a hand stained, Eco-friendly natural dark stain that makes these sunglasses stylish and classy.

As far as durability, they seem quite sturdy and have stainless steel optical hinges. Like any sunglasses, I advise being extra cautious not to step or sit on them. Luckily, these shades come with both a drawstring microfiber pouch as well as a very cool handcrafted bamboo hard case with more laser inscriptions, as well as a handy set of magnets to hold it closed.

Aside from being stylish and made from renewable materials, these sunglasses also have a couple handy features as well. First of which is the polarized lenses, which greatly reduce glare, reflections, & offer 100% UVA/UVB protection. On top of that, these snazzy shades also happen to float in water. I wish I had these shades a number of years back when my sunglasses fell out of a boat and promptly sunk to the bottom of the lake.

In the end, I found these bamboo sunglasses to be of a very high build quality and much more stylish than their plastic counterparts. If you are in the market for well made polarized sunglasses that float, then these are definitely the shades to check out. If you can afford it, I highly recommend getting a pair.
